Visual Basic 6 Run-time Library

If you don't have Visual Basic 6 installed on your system, you can download VB6 run-time library pack (VBRun60sp6.exe) from our website or Microsoft's website to run our compiled demo applications. It is a self-extracting executable file that installs versions of the Microsoft Visual Basic run-time files required by all applications created with Visual Basic 6.0.

MS Windows Common Controls 6.0 OCXs

Some ActiveX demos use MS Windows Common Controls 6.0 OCXs (MSCOMCTL.OCX and MSCOMCT2.OCX) which are generally installed automatically with Visual Basic 6. These ActiveX control packs contain such controls as TreeView, ListView, ImageList, StatusBar, ProgressBar, DateTimePicker and others. If you do not have VB6 installed in your system and would like to run our demos, in some cases you need to have these OCXs. You can download them here.

Notice that you need to register these controls in your operation system like any other ActiveX controls before you use them (with the regsvr32.exe utility from the Windows System folder or using any other way).

TlbInf32.dll with documentation

The Type Library Information object implemented in the TlbInf32 DLL allows you to programmatically extract information from type libraries. This library should be installed if you are using our OCXUpdater utility. You can also get more info and download this lib from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/224331.
